How to start an Independent insurance agent business??
I have a Life, Accident and health license and would like to know how the independent insurance agent business works. I would appreciate if you give me information on how to start this business and what steps I need to follow, I don’t have any experience at all and need to find a way to support my kids. This is serious, please don’t be sarcastic, I really need help!

You’ll have to find companies that will let you sell their product. Some may turn you down because of your lack of experience, or they may want you to also have a P&C license, or have a professional designation, i.e. LUTC, Chartered Life, or some of the others.
They also will want you to have Errors and Omissions insurance, so that any problems you have will be on you, and not them and their product.
OK, with no experience, your BEST bet is to get a job with an agency, working on straight commission. Just about anyone should give you a job. Along with basic training, you’ll have some support help there, and over the next year or two, you’ll learn all about the business.
With no experience, it’s pretty darned tough to get a company appointment, and you won’t have any product to SELL. And 1,000 characters that they give you here, is NOT going to teach you what you need to know – you need real life backup. That’s why I suggest working for someone else for a few years.
